Originally from St. Louis but now based in Atlanta, Metro Boomin is a highly acclaimed producer known for his dark and gritty street sound, which is reflected in his chosen moniker. Within a span of just five years, he achieved remarkable success, collaborating with notable artists such as Future, iLoveMakonnen, Drake, Migos, and Post Malone. His contributions to hit songs like “Honest,” “Tuesday,” “Jumpman,” “Bad and Boujee,” and “Congratulations” propelled him to the top of the charts, earning him numerous gold and platinum RIAA certifications.

In 2018, Metro Boomin released his debut solo album, “Not All Heroes Wear Capes,” which reached the number one spot on the Billboard 200. He continued his streak with the 2020 duo LP “Savage Mode II” alongside 21 Savage, and his second studio album, “Heroes & Villains,” in 2022, both of which also claimed the top position on the charts.

Branching out into the world of film, Metro Boomin made his mark in 2023 by curating the soundtrack for the movie “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.” Alongside his musical achievements, Metro’s journey in the music industry began during his early teenage years when he dabbled in both production and rapping. However, he eventually chose to focus solely on beatmaking.
