Jaymes Young, an accomplished American singer-songwriter and musician, embarked on his musical journey by sharing covers and original compositions on YouTube. This strategic move not only earned him recognition but also cultivated a devoted fan following. In 2013, Atlantic Records recognized his talent and signed him to a recording contract, setting the stage for his collaboration with the trip-hop trio London Grammar during their tour.
Marking a significant milestone, Young released his second EP, “Habits of My Heart,” on September 28, 2014, under the Atlantic Records label. He further showcased his musical prowess by opening for Vance Joy on the latter’s “Dream Your Life Away” tour¹. The artist’s versatility was highlighted when he joined forces with Birdy in David Guetta’s 2014 album, “Listen,” contributing to the track “I’ll Keep Loving You.”
Continuing his trajectory of artistic collaboration, Young teamed up with American electronic musician Zhu in 2016. Their partnership resulted in the creation of two tracks, “Hometown Girl,” inspired by Meghan Gier and Benjamin Griffith’s relationship, and “Cold Blooded,” a reflection of Jaymes Young’s own experiences during his youth. His debut album, “Feel Something,” made its debut on June 23, 2017¹, solidifying his presence in the music industry.

His list of releases includes two studio albums “Dark Star” and “Habits of My Heart” in 2014 and 2014 respectively., a feature collaboration with Legend David Guetta on the hit song “I’ll Keep Loving You” in 2014, two uncredited vocals on “Hometown Girl” and “Cold Blooded” with electronic musician Zhu.
Young released his first studio album “Feel Something” in 2017. The album debuted with “Infinity” which went on to hit #1 on TikTok’s viral chart and has gone on to surpass over 900 million streams on Spotify. Track 11 on the album “I’ll Be Good” has also gone on to become certified Gold.
His standalone single “Happiest Year” also went on to achieve viral success on social media platforms and also reached gold certification.
